Job summary

SPIROL International Corporation in Danielson, CT is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain our headquarters facilities, grounds and equipment. The role requires carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical work, painting, and proactive maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will work with a focus on continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions, with the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent).
• Ability to lift 60 lbs, bend, stoop, climb and reach.
• Ability to work without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Policing the grounds, shoveling/sanding walks, and maintaining flower beds and shrubs.
• Perform carpentry, floor repair, plumbing repairs and minor electrical repairs (plumbing experience preferred).
• Paint both interior and exterior of building.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying issues and providing cost-saving solutions.

We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Danielson, Connecticut.

This role is responsible for maintaining the facilities, grounds and equipment for our world-class head quarters in Danielson. This would include:

• Policing the grounds, shoveling/sanding walks as necessary, and maintaining flower beds and shrubs including watering
• Perform carpentry, floor repair, plumbing repairs and minor electrical repairs (Plumbing experience preferred)
• Paint both interior and exterior of building
• Promote continuous improvement by taking the initiative to identify issues and provide solutions with the goal of reducing cost and improving performance

Our requirements for the role include:

• High School diploma (or equivalent)
• Ability to lift 60 lbs, bend stoop, climb and reach
• Ability to work without supervision

The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.25 per hour. Actual starting pay will be determined based on factors including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related considerations.
