Position: Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician assists in executing maintenance processes, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance. Responsibilities also include managing the make-ready process under supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
  • Perform repairs and replacements in community areas and units.
  • Assist in scheduling and performing maintenance/repair-related turn events.
  • Maintain cleanliness of community grounds, breezeways, and common areas.
  • Perform pool maintenance and chemical logging.
  • Inspect grounds and facilities daily for hazards or liabilities.
  • Implement preventative maintenance to extend community asset life.
  • Maintain organized and stocked maintenance shop adhering to safety standards.
  • Participate in safety and hazard communication programs.
  • Assist with unit inspections and inventory monitoring.
  • Keep accurate records of service requests, maintenance, and compliance standards.
  • Support general upkeep of office, common areas, and model units.
  • Report community violations and participate in emergency on-call duties.
  • Provide excellent customer service and enforce community policies.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with onsite software.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical & Licensing Requirements
  • Ability to move, climb, lift, and work in various environments, including outdoors and confined spaces.
  • Reliable transportation for emergency on-call duties.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $22 - $24 per hour. We offer comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401K, paid sick days, holidays, and performance bonuses.
