Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is currently seeking an Electrical Field Service Technician to join our team of customer service professionals supporting the greater Peachtree City, GA region. This position is remote, working from a home office within the immediate geographic area, with frequent or daily travel to customer sites — company vehicle provided!

The expected annual salary range is $53,253 - $78,104. Salaries are based on skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.

What You’ll Do

Our technicians deliver mission-critical solutions for energy management, supporting UPS systems, batteries, and electronic products. Responsibilities include on-site emergency repairs, start-up services, preventative maintenance, and providing technical support and advice to customers.

Basic (Required) Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of experience with Power Systems, Batteries, or Electronics
• Valid, unrestricted State Driver's license
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Reside within the greater Peachtree City, GA area (Military candidates exempt)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or enrolled in a related Bachelor’s program
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to read schematics, troubleshoot, and repair electronic systems
• Electrical Technology Certificate

Position Success Criteria

• Willingness to travel up to 25% and support outside the immediate region
• Ability to work with team members and follow directions
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform various physical tasks
• Knowledge of circuit theory, electronics, and microprocessor controls
• Proficiency with tools, safety rules, and product knowledge
• Strong communication skills and PC proficiency
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
