Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent, vocational preferred.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry or general maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read, speak and communicate professionally.
• Ability to lead and cooperate with management, staff and residents/families.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• MN Driver's License with good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and follow multiple directions; multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with facility marketing and community relations as directed.
• Participate in outside events to promote services and campus events.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and contractors.
• Provide professional communication with visitors, residents and staff.
• Complete maintenance duties related to the facility program.
• Support preventative maintenance inspections and documentation.
• Manage grounds upkeep, snow removal, and landscaping.
• Coordinate security systems and safety procedures.
• Assist with safety trainings and QA data collection as directed.
• Support emergency repairs, participate in drills and building safety.
• Maintain a clean, orderly environment and timely upkeep of building and grounds.
• Report hazards and assist with compliance and policy updates.
