The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II/III to join its on-site team at El Segundo, CA. You’ll perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical and building systems, aligning with safety and quality standards.

You’ll work with Facilities to prioritize service requests, review maintenance plans, and coordinate with contractors. Strong troubleshooting and self-motivation are essential for on-time delivery and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of relevant experience.
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision, to self-initiate activities, and to work within timelines.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and services mechanical and building equipment.
• Completes service requests and preventative maintenance works orders.
• Acquires maintenance bids and performs maintenance walks.
• Analyzes repair programs; coordinates performance of modifications, installations, and repair work with building contractors and sub-contractors.
• Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings and specifications in support of work activity.

Facilities Maintenance Technician

To join its Facilities organization to support repairs and maintenance. This position conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdown of facilities, machinery and equipment. This position tests, inspects, troubleshoots and repairs machines and equipment. The Facilities Maintenance Technician works closely with various Facilities departments to provide seamless operations, excellent customer service, and a productive work environment.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at our campus facility in El Segundo, California.

What You’ll Be Doing

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
