Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling in Downey, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and keep our mechanical and electrical systems running safely in a warehouse setting. The role covers preventive maintenance, disassembly/reassembly, calibration, and inspections, with focus on reliability and safety.

The full-time night shift runs Tuesday–Saturday from 9:00pm to 5:30am, offering union benefits, medical/dental/vision, retirement, vacation, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 0–2 years related experience.
• Electrical or vocational certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems including disassembly, reassembly, and calibration.
• Administer methods to lay out, install, overhaul and maintain machines with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Clean and lubricate equipment, adjust parts, and inspect for defects in the warehouse.
• Cut and weld metal to repair parts, fabricate new parts, handle boiler blow downs, and record readings of critical operating parameters.
• Record repairs, maintenance, parts used, and orders or requisitions for new parts and materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Administer a wide variety of methods, procedures, and techniques to lay out, install, overhaul and maintain various types of machines encompassing mechanical and electrical systems
• Clean and lubricate equipment and machinery and adjust and examine parts for defects in the warehouse
• Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, handle boiler blow downs, and record readings of critical operating parameters as the technician
• Records repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and orders or requisitions new parts and materials
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
