Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of practical experience in construction, building maintenance, plumbing or electrical work.
• Must obtain CPR, First Aid, and OSHA Safety Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license for work-related travel.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of skilled maintenance duties including electrical, plumbing, HVAC repairs and boiler inspection.
• Identify repairs, order materials, distribute supplies, and maintain records and daily work logs.
• Solicit quotes from vendors and coordinate with contractors and engineers on projects.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and ensure safety practices are followed.
• Plan and lay out work efficiently, notify Facilities Manager of needed repairs or replacements, and attend staff meetings.
• Contribute to a team effort to meet deadlines and support organizational needs.
