• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Experience with Allen Bradley programming and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems (three-phase motors, drives, conduits).
• Observe and diagnose malfunctions of mechanical devices.
• Repair and maintain motors, tools, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Keep accurate maintenance and preventive maintenance records.

SURESTAFF is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a client located in Carol Stream, IL This position will be responsible for performing repairs and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $27/hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.

Available shifts include: Mon-Fri: 6:00-2:30pm

Responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance Technician

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems (three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives, and running electrical conduit)
• Observe and diagnose malfunctions of mechanical devices.
• Repair and maintain equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment.
• Keep accurate maintenance and preventative maintenance records.

Preferred Qualifications of the Facilities Maintenance Technician

• 3-5 years of experience in a Facilities Maintenance Technician
• Proven track record of effective problem-solving
• Strong communication skills
• Allen Bradley programming and troubleshooting experience.
