Job summary

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a qualified Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth operation of job sites and projects. You will maintain equipment, manage work orders, coordinate with contractors, and implement maintenance schedules to keep facilities safe and functional.

You will also support emergency planning, coordinate with the Fire Marshal on alarm systems and inspections, and handle plumbing and safety system maintenance across multiple buildings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment in proper working order, clean, and ready for use.
• Maintain cleanliness to ensure a functional environment.
• Receive, manage, and process work orders; ensure timely resolution.
• Liaise with employees and outside contractors to resolve issues.
• Draft and follow preventative maintenance schedules for buildings/equipment.
• Perform sewer line rodding and sanitary system maintenance.
• Ensure safety standards are followed at all times.
• Participate in emergency preparedness planning.
• Coordinate with Fire Marshal on alarms and safety inspections.
• Inspect fire extinguishers/elevators and other safety systems.
• Maintain building safety features, sprinklers, alarms, access pads.
• Maintain plumbing across company buildings and restock supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Snow removal from sidewalks, lots, and grounds.

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will

• Ensure equipment is in proper working order, clean, and ready for use
• Maintain cleanliness in physical space to promote a functional environment
• Receive, manage, and process work order requests and ensure problems are resolved quickly
• Act as a liaison between employees and outside contractors to resolve any concerns or conflicts
• Draft and implement preventative maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment
• Perform sewer line rodding and maintenance, including working with active sanitary systems
• Ensure safety standards are followed and met
• Participate in emergency preparedness planning
• Coordinate with the local Fire Marshall to ensure proper operation of alarm systems
• Coordinate inspections such as those with fire extinguishers, elevators, etc.
• Maintain building safety features including but not limited to sprinkler systems, alarms, access pads, etc.
• Maintain and correct any issues with plumbing systems throughout various company buildings
• Maintain inventory of supplies and reorders as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Perform snow removal from sidewalks, parking lots, and facility grounds.

Qualifications
