Job summary

LewisGale Regional Health System is seeking a compassionate Maintenance Technician to support multiple areas of the hospital with hands-on trades and preventative maintenance. You will help maintain building fixtures, perform repairs, and support grounds operations to ensure a safe, functional environment for patients and staff.

The role requires basic maintenance experience, a driver license, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a valid driver license.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in Plant Operations and Maintenance with integrity.
• Maintain and repair building fixtures, walls, ceilings, doors, and case work.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Assist in grounds maintenance and exterior fixtures.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable maintenance technician to provide technical support to all areas of the hospital. • You will perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner as to reflect the highest integrity of the Plant Operations and Maintenance Department.
• You will assist in maintaining and repairing building wood fixtures and finishes.
• You will perform urgent corrective, routine, and requisitioned repairs of walls, ceiling, doors and case work and other building fixtures.
• You will perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tools as required.
• You will assist in maintaining grounds and outside fixtures

What qualifications you will need:

• (DL) Driver License
• High School Graduate / GED
• 1 years experience, Must have thorough knowledge of how to use and maintain plant tools and equipment
