Job summary

LewisGale Regional Health System is seeking a compassionate maintenance technician to provide technical support across the hospital campus. You will perform repairs, maintenance of walls, ceilings, doors, casework, and preventative tasks to keep facilities safe and functional.

Applicants should have a valid driver license, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of experience with plant tools and equipment. The role offers an hourly wage and a supportive team in a hospital setting.

• At least 1 year of experience and knowledge of plant tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned tasks with high integrity for Plant Operations and Maintenance.
• Assist in maintaining and repairing building wood fixtures and finishes.
• Perform urgent and routine repairs of walls, ceilings, doors and case work and other fixtures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tools as required.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and outside fixtures.

Maintenance Technician

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable maintenance technician to provide technical support to all areas of the hospital. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

• You will perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner as to reflect the highest integrity of the Plant Operations and Maintenance Department.
• You will assist in maintaining and repairing building wood fixtures and finishes.
• You will perform urgent corrective, routine, and requisitioned repairs of walls, ceiling, doors and case work and other building fixtures.
• You will perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tools as required.
• You will assist in maintaining grounds and outside fixtures

What qualifications you will need:

• (DL) Driver License
• High School Graduate / GED
• 1 years experience, Must have thorough knowledge of how to use and maintain plant tools and equipment
