Job summary

Wood Violet Recovery is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our residential treatment facility in Dodgeville, WI. This full-time role supports life-changing work by maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for clients aged 18–64.

Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with Fridays and Saturdays off. Responsibilities include completing maintenance work orders, routine preventative tasks, and basic repairs, with on-site kitchen meals provided.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain).
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of English language.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• A minimum of 1 year of sobriety if in recovery.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders safely, accurately, and timely.
• Coordinate with maintenance lead and other departments to schedule repairs.
• Keep building, equipment, grounds, and common areas safe, clean, and in good condition.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Carry out basic repairs, janitorial tasks, and groundskeeping as needed.
• Conduct light pool maintenance, including cleaning and water checks.
• Respond to maintenance issues promptly.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
