Job summary

Wood Violet Recovery in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, is seeking a Weekend Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support adults in residential treatment. This role offers weekend shifts, competitive hourly pay, and the chance to contribute to recovery journeys.

As part of the team, you will assist with intake, transportation, safety checks, and client activities, collaborating with nursing and clinical staff to deliver compassionate, professional care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Welcoming new clients and assisting with intake, tours, paperwork, and orientation.
• Providing transportation to appointments, airports, community outings, and other approved activities.
• Conducting routine wellness checks and obtaining vital signs.
• Monitoring client safety and maintaining a therapeutic environment.
• Documenting observations, interactions, and client progress accurately and timely.
• Supporting clients through challenging moments with professionalism, empathy, and respect.
• Assisting with recreational activities and community engagement.
• Collaborating with nursing, clinical, and operations teams to ensure exceptional client care.
• Responding appropriately during emergencies and following established safety procedures.
