Job summary

Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in Phoenix, AZ to maintain two West Valley facilities and coordinate the work of vendors.

Primary duties include upkeep of buildings and grounds, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and painting; setting up and repairing equipment; moving furniture and deliveries; coordinating permits, inspections, fire drills, and safety inspections; managing scrap recycling and hazardous waste, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of general maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and painting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and grounds and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Set up and repair equipment and coordinate with vendors.
• Move furniture, receive deliveries, and oversee third-party vendors.
• Manage scrap recycling and hazardous waste; maintain equipment manuals; lead safety inspections.
