Job summary

Cresco Labs in Michigan seeks a Facility Maintenance Technician to keep our production facility in top condition for manufacturing operations. The role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC responsibilities with potential early/late shifts and weekend coverage.

You should have 1-3 years of industrial maintenance, read machine prints, and withstand hot, humid, or cold environments. HVAC certification is preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely with PPE is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of industrial building maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read machine prints and perform machine repair.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must work in hot, humid, and cold environments.
• Experience in production with mechanical/electrical/plumbing troubleshooting.
• Installation experience with piping systems (air/water/steam) and control circuits.

Responsibilities

• Complete work lists on time and accurately.
• Inspect HVAC, lighting, doors and premises on a schedule.
• Maintain building systems including HVAC and life safety.
• Repair mechanical equipment as directed.
• Electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Roof maintenance and patching assistance as needed.
• Assist in general troubleshooting and problem solving.

JOB SUMMARY

Cresco Labs is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician. As the Facility Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the facility is maintained in a satisfactory condition for all required production and manufacturing operations. The maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep of the facility and should have a variety of skills, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC certifications. This position may require schedule adjustments, including early morning, late evening, or weekend shifts to meet the operational needs of the business.

CORE JOB DUTIES

• Timely and accurate completion of work lists
• Check HVAC components, doors, interior / exterior lighting, roof and general premises on a routine schedule
• Maintain building systems including interior/exterior lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life safety and building security including fencing
• Repair mechanical equipment as directed
• Electrical troubleshooting and repairs including bulbs/ballast replacement, plumbing, painting and carpentry as required
• Snow removal and salting / Mowing or other groundwork as required
• Assist in roof maintenance repair work as needed
• Touch up painting and drywall patching as needed
• Miscellaneous troubleshooting and problem solving
• Use protective hearing, eyewear and safety shoes when necessary
• Other duties as necessary
• Complete required training in timely manner

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• 1-3 years of industrial building maintenance preferred
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to read machine prints and perform machine repair
• An ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work in hot / humid and cold environments
• Experience in a production environment using mechanical, electrical and plumbing trouble-shooting skills
• Hands on experience in installation of piping systems (air, water, steam), industrial electrical installations, control circuits and PLC’s preferred
• Relevant technical knowledge
• HVAC Certified (preferred)
• Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
• Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
• Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.

Pay Range

$24 - $26 USD
