Cresco Labs is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in Joliet, IL. You will maintain production facilities, perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

We value hands-on technicians with the ability to read prints, troubleshoot issues, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. HVAC certification is preferred; safety equipment is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industrial building maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read machine prints and perform machine repair.
• Hands-on experience with piping systems (air, water, steam) and electrical installations.
• HVAC certification preferred; experience in production environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Check HVAC, lighting, doors, roof, and premises on a regular schedule.
• Maintain building systems including lighting, HVAC, life safety and security.
• Repair mechanical equipment and perform electrical/plumbing tasks as needed.
• Touch up painting and drywall patches; basic carpentry and repairs.

JOB SUMMARY

Cresco Labs is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician. As the Facility Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the facility is maintained in a satisfactory condition for all required production and manufacturing operations. The maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep of the facility and should have a variety of skills, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC certification.

CORE JOB DUTIES

• Timely completion of work lists


• Check HVAC, door, interior / exterior lighting, roof and general premises on a routine schedule


• Maintain building systems including interior/exterior lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life safety and building security including fencing


• Repair mechanical equipment as directed


• Electrical including bulbs/ballast replacement, plumbing, painting and carpentry as required


• Snow/salt or other groundwork as required


• Assist in roof maintenance repair work as needed


• Touch up painting and drywall patching as needed


• Miscellaneous troubleshooting and problem solving


• Use protective hearing, eyewear and shoes when necessary


• Other duties as necessary

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• 1-3 years of industrial building maintenance preferred


• Ability to read machine prints and perform machine repair


• An ability to work well under pressure


• Hands on experience in installation of piping systems (air, water, steam), industrial electrical installations and control circuits


• Relevant technical knowledge


• HVAC Certified (preferred)


• Experience in a production environment using mechanical, electrical and plumbing trouble‑shooting skills; utility installations (electrical, steam, air, process piping) is a plus


• Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.


• Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.


• Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.

Pay Range

$25 - $25 USD
