Job summary

Heartshare is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform maintenance, cleaning and repairs across HSVS facilities. The role requires attention to safety, compliance with codes, and the ability to follow an automated work order system.

The maintainer will service interiors, exteriors, and grounds, conduct daily checks, and participate in trainings for professional growth. A strong team environment and supportive non-profit culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of janitorial equipment and proper chemical usage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HSVS facilities interiors, exteriors, and grounds.
• Perform daily facility checks and report needs or submit work orders.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, common areas and offices.
• Light maintenance tasks: painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry as directed.
• Follow safety procedures and support environmental practices.
