350 HISTORICAL SOCIETY in Oklahoma City is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Tech III to support upkeep of state property at 800 Nazih Zudhi Dr, OKC. This full-time Regular role encompasses construction, maintenance and repair work across buildings and grounds.

The position includes carpentry, plumbing, electrical tasks, equipment maintenance and on-site inspections, with some supervision of staff as needed. Salary up to $41,000 based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and repair.
• Carpentry and renovation work for buildings and structures.
• Basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC knowledge.
• Ability to estimate costs for labor and materials and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction or renovation of buildings and perform general maintenance.
• Carry out carpentry to construct or repair structures and components.
• Install, replace or repair plumbing fixtures and related equipment.
• Maintain lighting, electrical systems and HVAC equipment not requiring a license.
• Inspect buildings and equipment and prepare on-site reports and cost estimates.
• Supervise workers in maintenance and repair activities as needed.
• Perform moderately heavy lifting and manual tasks.
