Job summary

Canyon Ranch Operating, LLC in Lenox, MA is seeking a Commercial Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across guest rooms, spa, fitness areas, and public spaces. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and related trades while upholding Canyon Ranch standards of safety and service.

Schedule requires Sunday to Wednesday from 3 PM to 11 PM; a valid driver's license and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of general maintenance experience required.
• Available Sunday - Wednesday from 3 PM - 11 PM.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, tiling, HVAC, mechanical systems.
• Ability to perform or learn pool and spa care, water testing, chemical balancing, and gym equipment maintenance.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, interpret instructions, and uphold Canyon Ranch standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventative maintenance throughout the property, including guest rooms, offices, common areas, locker rooms, spa and pool areas, fitness facilities, residences, and public spaces.
• Complete repairs and maintenance projects involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, HVAC, mechanical systems, and other related building trades.
• Respond to guest and colleague service requests promptly while maintaining excellent communication and providing exceptional service.
• Assist with property projects including furniture reconfigurations, gym equipment adjustments, medical equipment support, and other operational needs.
• Maintain pool and spa equipment, complete water testing, and make appropriate chemical adjustments while ensuring compliance with state Board of Health regulations.
• Maintain accurate records related to water quality testing, chemical usage, equipment maintenance, and safety inspections.
• Maintain an organized workspace, storage areas, and accurate inventory of maintenance parts and supplies while following all safety procedures.
