Job summary

Bal Seal Engineering Foothill Ranch, Lake Forest, CA is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet safety and functionality standards. The role includes diagnosing electrical or mechanical malfunctions and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.

Minimum two years of maintenance experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certificates a plus.
• Two years of general facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and follow PM procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment records per E1 preventative maintenance work orders.
• Makes general mechanical and minor electrical repairs to production and facility equipment.
• Retrieves and orders spare parts and supplies as needed.
• Enhances the facility PM program through recommendations.
• Inspects and maintains facility equipment and repairs interior/exterior.
• Manages and controls company chemicals and gas tanks.
• Custodian responsibilities as assigned.
• Monitors, repairs and reports unsafe conditions.
