Job summary

Westgate Resorts in Park City, UT, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 to support resort operations through maintenance tasks, projects, and preventive work orders.

The role involves plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance duties, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. Starting pay is $24/hour with Daily Pay access and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 1+ years of hands-on trades & maintenance experience in a resort or commercial environment.
• Energetic, self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with guests and peers.
• Adaptable, multi-tasking under pressure and timely results.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes and preventative maintenance as instructed by resort leadership.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, replace fixtures and piping.
• Troubleshoot minor electrical problems and replace components such as receptacles and ballasts.
• Repair appliances and fixtures to ensure optimal functionality.
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Repair interior/exterior walls, textures, painting and caulking.
• Repair tile, grout, vinyl and carpeting as needed.
• Manage pools, spas and related features, including chemical balance.
• Assist with procurement and inventory for on-site needs.
• Use resort operation devices/software like HotSOS.
• Communicate professionally via radios, phone and email.
• Work safely on ladders, scaffolds and lifts with PPE.
• Identify safety or security hazards and address accordingly.
• Take on additional responsibilities as delegated by management.
