Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech II to perform skilled maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures. May oversee and review the work of lower-level technicians.

Responsibilities include routine and preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment, documenting maintenance requests, and safely operating facilities and tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent must be completed.
• Three years of job relevant experience.
• Proficiency in written and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Oversee and review work of lower-level technicians.
• Document maintenance requests and close tickets as needed.
• Move equipment, furniture, etc., as required.
• Safely operate, manage and maintain facilities, tools and equipment.
