Job summary

Cox Automotive in Massachusetts (North Dighton) is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform routine maintenance and upkeep of facilities. The role operates during the day, with no remote option, and may require overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities include maintaining buildings and grounds, performing minor repairs and HVAC tasks, and ensuring safety practices are followed. Strong communication and independence are essential for success in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Generally, less than 2 years of experience.
• Safe drivers with valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently.
• Effective communication with staff, management and customers.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site.
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance on furniture, office equipment, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain exterior and grounds; perform cleanup duties as needed.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working condition and follow safety rules.
• Follow safe operating procedures when using cleaning solutions and machinery.
• Demonstrate safety commitment and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, including supply delivery.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
