Job summary

Duncan Aviation in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist I to clean hangars, shops and grounds and to assist with non-hazardous spills under supervision. You will help maintain equipment, respond to facility requests, and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, working in extreme temperatures, and adhering to approved procedures. Certifications in respirator fit, forklift, and scissor lift are required, along with a valid

Respirator fit qualified; forklift and scissor lift certification; must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize hangars, shops, lunchrooms and restrooms; handle non-hazardous materials per approved procedures.
Maintain facility equipment (scrubbers, shop-vac, snow blowers, etc.).
Respond to facilities requests and assist with after-hours emergencies as needed.
Maintain Company grounds: cleanup, snow removal, de-icer, and safe surroundings.
Order and stock facility supplies; organize lunchrooms, restrooms and janitorial closets.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
