Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist I to clean and maintain hangars, shops and grounds, following approved procedures. With supervision, you will handle non‑hazardous materials and assist with spills, ensuring safe, clean working conditions across the site.

Key duties include operating maintenance equipment, responding to facility requests, stocking supplies, and supporting after-hours emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Must have respirator fitqualification and forklift/scissor lift certifications.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes hangars, shops, lunchrooms and restrooms with approved procedures.
• Maintains facility equipment (scrubbers, spreaders, shop-vac, snow blowers, etc.).
• Responds to facilities requests and assists with after-hours emergencies.
• Maintains company grounds including litter pickup, snow removal and de-icer application.
• Orders and stocks facility supplies; keeps lunchrooms/restrooms/closets organized and stocked.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
