Job summary

Duncan Aviation in Lincoln, NE is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Specialist to perform preventive maintenance on building systems, troubleshoot equipment, and support in-house remodels. The role requires attention to safety, proper PPE use, and accurate documentation of all maintenance activities.

The position involves hands-on work with HVAC units, make-up air units, boilers, and related equipment, with responsibilities including inventory management and collaboration with external contractors

Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs on building HVAC and related systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical components.
• Documentation of maintenance activities and updates to PM program.
• Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage; knowledge of hazardous materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs on building maintenance equipment to extend life and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair HVAC units; replace components and test voltages (24–480V).
• Assist in remodels and coordinate with external HVAC contractors for service calls.
• Maintain and update maintenance documentation; manage inventory of filters and belts.
