Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our client's Operations Department in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on supporting building maintenance and technical services, with hands-on work across multiple trades and systems.

Responsibilities include assisting with preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related infrastructure; documenting tasks in CMMS; and adhering to OSHA and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operational maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial/industrial buildings and systems.
• Inspect, calibrate, maintain, test, and repair facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire safety, boilers, refrigeration units, compressors, motors, pumps, and controls.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, and snow removal to ensure the integrity of building infrastructure and grounds.
• Utilize CMMS computer systems to document tasks, maintain equipment histories, and input work orders efficiently.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to OSHA, local, and company safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
