Job summary

OPW in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair building infrastructure, HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing and grounds. This onsite role supports production uptime and safety, requiring 5+ years of industrial maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and technical training.

You will work 8-hour shifts with overtime as needed, interact with vendors, and use CMMS software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2 years of Tech/Community College in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CMMS software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and regulatory-compliant building environment.
• Support daily operations to maintain facility uptime.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, air compressors, and dryers.
• Repair lighting, doors, roofing, and office/restroom areas.
• Read and interpret building plans, schematics, and manuals.
• Coordinate with vendors and external contractors for services.
• Adhere to Arc Flash PPE requirements and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with Operators, Team Leads, Managers, and Vendors.
