Job summary
Meow Wolf in Denver is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support building operations, maintenance and safety for the on-site exhibit spaces and off-site warehouse. You will conduct inspections, perform repairs and work with third-party vendors to keep the facility safe and engaging for guests.
The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, along with strong attention to environmental and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years in Building Facilities Maintenance, Commercial Construction or Renovation.
- Experience with HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Life Safety systems.
- Ability to read MEP plans, schematics and architectural drawings.
- Proficiency with power tools, welding and fabrication techniques.
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, inspections and repairs on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, structural, etc.).
- Support exhibition staff by documenting facility findings and coordinating with vendors.
- Maintain CMMS records for preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance across facilities.
- Respond to emergencies and collaborate with contractors as needed.
