Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure that the facility and production equipment operate at peak efficiency and safety. This role involves servicing the facility maintenance repairs, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, and performing routine inspections.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) and 2-5 years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (associate degree preferred).
• 2-5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret schematics and manuals to diagnose root causes.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled machine inspections, lubrication, and part replacements.
• Diagnose root causes of equipment failures using diagnostic tools; repair as needed.
• Assist in installation of new machinery and changeovers for different product runs.
• Adhere to Lockout/Tagout procedures and OSHA safety standards.
• Maintain logs of repairs, part usage and MTBF.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and automated robotic systems (learning on the job).
