Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. You will perform routine maintenance on complex equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain records, ensuring safe and efficient operations in a production environment.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, ability to read schematics, and familiarity with CMMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of related experience or graduate degree with 2+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of related experience required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems; able to read manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on facility equipment and systems including electrical and mechanical.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and manage spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with Facilities team to ensure a safe, productive work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in facility upgrades and cost-saving initiatives.
