Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform emergency and preventive maintenance of electrical distribution, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems across multiple offices.

The role requires at least three years of relevant experience, a valid Florida driver’s license, and the ability to work with safety standards and contractors. Salary is commensurate with experience and includes tuition reimbursement, PSLF, and growth programs.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
Three (3) years’ experience involving trade applications or mechanical work.
One (1) year experience if a trade or vocational school graduate non trade specific.
Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

Performs routine and emergency repair and maintenance on structures and equipment in assigned areas.
Collaborates with outside contractors as job permits.
Maintains records to ensure compliance with state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations.
Coordinates, conducts, and documents fire and life safety measures throughout the facility.
Trains other engineers in specific skills and conducts in-services as required.
Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Responds to Code Calls.
