Job summary

The YMCA of the Rockies—Snow Mountain Ranch is seeking a Buildings Maintenance Tech to repair and maintain facilities for guests and staff across the property. You will perform carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical tasks, and general construction to keep all accommodations operational.

You will safely use tools, track work orders, and coordinate with the Buildings Foreman and seasonal staff to ensure timely completion and high service levels. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in facility maintenance in commercial and residential environments.
• Skilled in drywall installation and repair, interior/exterior painting, carpentry, basic plumbing/heating/electrical.
• Experience with residential-type HVAC systems and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, installations, and upkeep across all facilities (carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, general construction).
• Safely operate hand and power tools common to maintenance.
• Enter and track work orders in the computerized maintenance system.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, heating, and electrical equipment.
• Repair and maintain locks, windows, furniture, fixtures, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests; provide courteous service.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize projects for efficiency and resource use.
• Assist in scheduling seasonal or volunteer maintenance staff to ensure coverage.
