Job summary

The City of Scottsdale is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech to perform skilled maintenance, repair, alteration, and remodeling of city facilities. The position includes a competitive salary up to the mid-point based on experience and internal equity, with a full range listed above.

The mid-point is $74,755.20 annually or $35.94/hour. Selection includes background screens and post-offer pre-employment steps; applicants must reside in Arizona during active employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Five years of relevant work experience in residential or commercial construction.
• Preferred: completion of an accredited apprenticeship program in at least one building/construction trades.
• Experience at a journey level.
• Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with no major citations within the past 39 months.
• OSHA-Class III Asbestos worker certification within one year of hire or promotion and pass a pulmonary health assessment and fit test for a respirator.
• Residents of Arizona during active employment.
