Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Team Lead to oversee non-exempt personnel, manage recruitment, training, work assignments, recognition, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions. You will ensure that customer requirements are met by coordinating deliverables, project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing.

In this role, you will also contribute to developing team capabilities and supporting current and future projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus five or more years of directly related experience.
• Experience as supervisor/foreman and with bargaining agreements.
• Experience with a Work Planning and Control system such as Maximo.
• Experience in the HVAC industry.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deliverables, project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance reviews for the maintenance team.
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance staff on system operation and repairs.
• Lead safety and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Respond to outages and lead after-hours emergency actions.
• Use Facilities Control System and MAXIMO for asset management and operations.
