Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a working supervisor for electrical maintenance at the Orlando campus. You will lead a team, perform hands-on troubleshooting, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to maintain reliable electrical infrastructure.

You will coordinate daily work with planners, guide technicians, and ensure safety, quality, and proper documentation across outages and contractor activities.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman-level electrical maintenance experience in industrial or campus facilities.
  • Experience leading electrical maintenance personnel or teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot distribution, circuits, controls, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and codes/practices.
  • Willingness to perform hands-on work while supervising the team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and emergent conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day electrical maintenance activities.
  • Lead technicians, assign work, and ensure readiness and safety.
  • Provide technical guidance and quality documentation.
  • Support outages, coordinate specialized contractors as needed.

Who You Are

This candidate is responsible for supervising and actively supporting the day-to-day execution of electrical maintenance activities across the Orlando campus. Serves as a working supervisor responsible for leading electrical maintenance personnel while maintaining hands-on involvement in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and other electrical work as operational needs require. Coordinates daily work execution with the Planner/Scheduler, assigns and directs work within the electrical team, verifies job readiness, responds to emergent maintenance requirements, provides technical guidance, and ensures completed work meets safety, quality, documentation, and operational requirements. Supports electrical outages and shutdowns, coordinates work involving specialized electrical contractors when required, and serves as a technical resource for complex electrical system issues. Responsible for developing technician capability, reinforcing safe work practices, monitoring work quality and productivity, supporting root-cause troubleshooting, and ensuring maintenance activities are properly documented and closed within LMBuildings. Works closely with Maintenance leadership, other trade supervisors, Engineering, ESH, contractors, and site customers to maintain reliable facility electrical infrastructure. Primary responsibilities include personnel supervision, daily maintenance execution, hands-on electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, work assignment, technical leadership, electrical outage support, contractor coordination, safety and quality oversight, technician development, work order documentation, and maintenance performance support.

Basic Qualifications

  • Journeyman-level or equivalent experience performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation in an industrial, manufacturing, commercial, campus, or similar facilities environment
  • Experience leading, supervising, directing, or providing technical leadership to electrical maintenance personnel
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical distribution, branch circuits, equipment, controls, or other facility electrical systems
  • Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical infrastructure and equipment
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation
  • Working knowledge of electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout requirements, and applicable electrical codes and standards
  • Ability and willingness to perform hands-on electrical maintenance activities while also supervising day-to-day team execution
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities, emergent maintenance conditions, and operational requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required site access/security requirements
Desired Skills
  • Experience supervising electrical maintenance personnel in an industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, commercial, or large campus environment
  • Experience maintaining facility electrical distribution systems, switchgear, panelboards, transformers, motor controls, lighting systems, and associated electrical infrastructure
  • Experience coordinating planned electrical outages, shutdowns, switching activities, or other work affecting facility operations
  • Experience troubleshooting complex or recurring electrical failures and supporting root‑cause analysis
  • Experience coordinating work performed by specialized electrical contractors
  • Experience utilizing LMBuildings, Maximo, or similar computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Experience reviewing preventive maintenance requirements, work orders, job plans, and maintenance documentation
  • Experience developing or mentoring electrical technicians and providing technical guidance in the field
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, OSHA requirements, and electrical safe‑work practices
  • Experience coordinating electrical work with other facility trades, Engineering, ESH, contractors, and operational customers
  • Strong leadership, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and decision‑making skills in an active operational environment
Pay Information

Full-time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
