Job summary

Mark-Taylor Residential Inc is seeking a Manager of Facilities and Service (Maintenance Supervisor) for The Hillburn in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead a team of Service Technicians, Facilities Technicians, and Housekeepers, performing hands-on maintenance and ensuring high-quality service across the community.

The role requires advanced trades knowledge, relevant certifications (EPA/HVAC/CPO/OSHA), and 3+ years in maintenance plus 1 year in a leadership capacity.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscape, appliances, and OSHA standards.
• One or more industry-specific professional certifications (EPA, HVAC, CPO, OSHA or similar).
• Service-oriented with strong customer focus and communication.
• 3+ years in Maintenance Technician/Service roles in multi-unit housing.
• 1 year in Maintenance Manager/Supervisor or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of Service Technicians, Facilities Technicians, and Housekeepers.
• Oversee hands-on maintenance to maintain and enhance community value.
• Diagnose, repair, and inspect HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry and related systems.
• Manage Make-Ready, Turn Board, and daily apartment inventory for leasing support.
• Schedule contractors and vendors; ensure safety compliance and training.
• Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance, inspections, and inventories.
• Provide excellent resident service and uphold safety protocols.
