Job summary

Travel is required across the state; some positions may require a valid Oklahoma driver's license.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in skilled building trades or maintenance work.
• Three years of supervising employees, inmates, or contractors.
• Knowledge of applicable construction or maintenance trades and related regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of buildings, premises, and equipment to determine needs.
• Manage supervisory or contracted staff and budgets.
• Evaluate bids and prepare specifications for equipment and vehicles.
• Prepare cost estimates for capital projects and review plans.
• Plan and direct movement of heavy construction equipment across the state.
• Schedule crews and report time and attendance.
