Job summary

The State of Oklahoma is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Technician III to perform construction, maintenance, repair and upkeep of state buildings and grounds. This role covers carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, and general equipment maintenance.

Applicants should have five years in building trades, be able to follow instructions, and may require a valid Oklahoma CDL; some lifting and travel may be expected.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in one or more of the building trades.
• Possession of a valid Oklahoma CDL may be required.
• Safety precautions and ability to follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry and structural maintenance on buildings.
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures and piping.
• Maintain electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Operate and repair construction equipment as needed.
