Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of first-level supervisory experience in maintenance operations.
• Ability to plan and schedule work, including staff and materials.
• Read and interpret architectural blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
• NYS uniform Building Code certification within one year of appointment.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance crew and provide technical direction for building, mechanical and electrical work.
• Review maintenance requests, visit sites, determine labor and material needs.
• Plan, estimate, and schedule renovation and construction projects.
• Enforce preventive maintenance program and safety procedures.
• Inspect work by contractors and manage budget and records.
