Job summary

South Suburban Park & Recreation District in Lone Tree, Colorado, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance crew, plan projects, and ensure safety and quality across facilities and parks.

You will manage staffing, scheduling, vendor coordination, and budgets, while mentoring staff, reading blueprints, and enforcing district policies. This full-time role requires strong leadership and hands-on supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Construction or related field.
• Four years' related park or grounds maintenance and/or construction experience including supervisory experience.
• Any combination of experience, training and education that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of full-time staff and provide evaluations.
• Assist in supervision of maintenance projects including painting, drywall, carpentry, tile and fixtures.
• Schedule and manage staff assignments and timesheets; coordinate with Payroll as needed.
• Administer district policies and help update procedures to comply with regulations.
• Ensure safety of users and maintenance quality across projects.
