Job summary

Natural Organics Inc., headquartered in Melville, NY, is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to service our busy production and corporate Headquarters on Long Island. This role leads daily operations of building systems and oversees safety and compliance.

You will manage preventive maintenance, mentor a maintenance team, coordinate contractors, and ensure OSHA and fire/safety standards are met, while supporting a high-quality work environment and reliable facilities.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of facility maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's in Facilities Management or Engineering is highly preferred.
Deep understanding of HVAC chillers, boilers, electrical grids, BMS, and fire suppression systems.
Professional certifications such as FMP or CFM or state licenses are a major asset.
Ability to walk large facilities, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations, preventive maintenance, and repair of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and BMS).
Establish preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespans.
Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, providing technical guidance to on-site technicians.
