The Lafayette Engine Center in IN has an opening for a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor on 2nd Shift. You will lead a maintenance team of skilled trades, handling preventive maintenance and capital planning to support manufacturing.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting experience, and knowledge of plant facilities management. Relocation is available; travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong budgeting and financial planning skills.
• Experience with plant facilities management and maintenance planning.
• Knowledge of manufacturing standards and procedures.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and budgets.
• Experience with planning systems and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with engineers, partners and suppliers to meet business goals.
• Trains and guides maintenance staff to ensure quality performance.
• Evaluates utility and equipment performance and proposes solutions.
• Oversees facility inspections, repairs and updates.
• Plans, schedules, and monitors work for the maintenance team.
• Manages budgets, forecasts, and personnel issues.
• Leads problem-solving for complex issues.
• Provides leadership to craftsmen to meet customer expectations.
• Maintains inventory and coordinates major projects.
