Job summary

Franklin Group in Maryland is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team, ensure safety compliance, manage inventory and coordinate with vendors to keep community facilities in excellent condition.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, experience scheduling preventative maintenance, and the ability to train and develop staff while maintaining professional relations with residents and contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3–5 years related maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification required; CAMT recommended; Fair Housing within 1 day of hire.
• Strong supervisory and scheduling abilities; able to train staff.
• Ability to read safety rules and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, custodial and grounds teams and coordinate with suppliers.
• Respond to work orders and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and company policies.
• Direct supervision of in-house and vendor work; manage schedules and resources.
• Assist in interviewing, screening and training maintenance personnel.
