Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team across community grounds and buildings. You will manage daily activities, respond to work orders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely upkeep and safety compliance.

You will supervise staff, schedule preventative maintenance, and ensure adherence to OSHA standards while maintaining a professional community presence and reporting on operational issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3-5 years of related maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification required; CAMT recommended; Fair Housing Certification within 14 days of hire.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a maintenance team.
• Ability to read safety rules and write routine reports; communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory, ordering and delivery of supplies for maintenance, custodial and grounds teams.
• Respond promptly to work orders and make-readies; schedule preventative maintenance.
• Ensure OSHA safety standards and company policies are followed at all times.
• Direct supervision of in-house and vendor work; coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Schedule product reviews to avoid drop-in sales calls and train staff as needed.
• Assist in interviewing and training maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping personnel.
• Maintain professional appearance and consistent communication with residents.
• Report unusual circumstances and manage safety and equipment issues.
