Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) is seeking a Working Supervisor in Hawaii to lead the Maintenance Department of NHG, ensuring preventive maintenance and timely repairs to buildings and equipment at Pearl Harbor. The role requires shift work, managing guest services, housekeeping support, and maintaining NHG standards.

Qualified candidates will have general and specialized maintenance experience, supervisory ability, and knowledge of safety regulations.

Qualifications

General maintenance knowledge and practices for upkeep of buildings, grounds, fixtures and equipment.
Experience supervising a maintenance team and coordinating work orders.
Understanding of OSHA and NHG standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Supervises maintenance personnel and oversees interior and exterior upkeep across NHG facilities.
Trains and schedules staff, checks quality, monitors productivity, and handles payroll basics.
Originates and reviews work orders for repairs in guest rooms and public areas.
Maintains security procedures for guest rooms and key control, reports missing keys.
Manages departmental budget, inventory, and store rooms for cleanliness and order.
Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations; communicates with Maintenance Manager.
