Job summary

Halstead-Health- is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee repairs, upkeep, and safety of the Community facilities. The role reports to the Administrator and covers building, grounds, electrical, plumbing, and equipment maintenance.

The position requires coordinating fire drills, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing maintenance staff. Availability for emergency maintenance is essential, with some after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance at work.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours, weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergencies.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the building and grounds; perform repairs.
• Ensure electrical systems and appliances are in good working order.
• Ensure plumbing systems are in good repair.
• Organize fire drills and maintain safety equipment.
• Maintain community equipment and assist staff as needed.
• Oversee maintenance department staffing and budgeting.
