Job summary

Terravita Country Club, located in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Staff to perform daily repair and maintenance across offices, public spaces, and grounds within a hospitality-focused property. Responsibilities include electrical, mechanical, and structural upkeep; exterior and interior cleaning; inventory reporting; and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation, including electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects.
• Maintains exterior cleanliness and appearance, including trash, sweeping, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains interior cleanliness and appearance, including trash, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Reports to supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Compensation:

$21.00 per hour

General Purpose:

Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds, and other areas as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation, including, but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.

Maintains cleanliness and appearance of the exterior of the facility, including, but not limited to, emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.

Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility, including, but not limited to, emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.

Identifies and reports to supervisor when supplies are needed.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

Frequently uses hands and reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, and sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise:

Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and in areas with fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.

No certifications or licenses are required.

Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g., associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or coworkers, and the manuals for the equipment associates may use are in English).
