Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and proactive Facilities & Maintenance Person to oversee the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all owned and leased facilities. This role is responsible for planning, budgeting, and managing property upkeep, renovations, repairs, and security operations to ensure a safe and efficient environment for staff and visitors.

Position’s Major Responsibilities
  • Maintain all buildings and grounds to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement plans, budgets, and schedules for maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance; coordinate and oversee contractor work.
  • Manage facility security operations to safeguard company property and premises.
  • Prepare and execute emergency response procedures when necessary.
Position Responsibilities
  • Perform highly diversified duties for maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, including diagnosing issues, developing solutions, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules, equipment replacement plans, and renovation timelines, completing as much work in-house as possible.
  • Maintain a comprehensive vendor list for major repairs; coordinate with required vendors per lease agreements; monitor and inspect vendor performance.
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and landlords regarding facility repairs, where applicable.
  • Conduct monthly facility inspections to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment; oversee contractor services (e.g., pest control, cleaning, alarm/security) and verify licenses and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory records, including tagging equipment, overseeing disposal of damaged assets, and conducting annual inventory audits.
  • Coordinate building space planning, layout changes, and expansions; prepare meeting and conference spaces; move furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Train employees on emergency procedures, including use of emergency lighting and fire extinguishers.
  • Prepare and manage expense reports with accurate classification by location.
Supervision Received

This position operates with limited supervision and is evaluated based on performance outcomes, including customer service, follow-up, and execution. Strong self-direction and accountability are essential.
