Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across headquarters, Logix branches, and exterior areas in California. The role requires organization, problem solving, and proactive service to internal customers.

You will handle work orders, basic repairs, room setups, safety reporting, and coordinate with management and third parties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work alone or in a team.
• Knowledge of maintenance terminology and tools.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Valid CA driver license with clean DMV.
• Broad knowledge of building trades and systems.
• Ability to read construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Receives and completes daily routine facilities work orders and verbal instructions from manager and department colleagues within departmental guidelines.
• Creates work orders on facilities system to report and track safety and maintenance requests; communicates safety issues to facilities management.
• Performs daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly routine maintenance tasks; coordinates conference room setup and seating arrangements per requests.
• Checks conference rooms daily to ensure neat, organized setup; ensures lights work, boards clean, markers available.
• Performs office furniture repair, interior/exterior painting; completes other maintenance tasks as needed.
• Notifies management when work scope requires third party assistance.
• Monitors carpet and ceiling tile repairs; maintains stock and reports replenishment needs.
• Maintains positive relationships with vendors for prompt service.
• Monitors third party furniture reconfigurations for accuracy.
• Provides prompt, efficient, courteous service to internal customers; updates on service progress.
• Works within team; has direct impact on own tasks.
• Responsible for pressure washing balcony and exterior areas of HQ building.
